Submission and Languages
Papers should be sent to the journal’s email address: ksio.casopis@gmail.com.
We accept submissions written in all official languages of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia, as well as in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.
After sending, the papers are sent to the editorial board for the initial review, and afterwards to two reviewers. Authors do not pay or receive any fees for sending or publishing work. By sending the papers, the authors accept full responsibility for their content.
Text Formatting and Structure
The paper should be in the Word document (.doc or .docx).
The paper should have up to 15.000 words (without Bibliography).
The body of the text should be divided into chapters. Chapter headings must be bolded and written in lowercase. The text must be justified on both sides. Use Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
Each submission must include a Summary (up to 500 words) and Keywords in English, placed at the end of the paper.
The paper must have a critical apparatus, an abstract of maximum 300 words and keywords at the beginning and a bibliography at the end. If paper is written on any language other than English, a summary of minimum 300 words at the end of the paper (after Bibliography) is required. Bibliography should contain at least 10 references.
The Title Page must include:
– Author’s full name
– Academic title/position
– Institutional affiliation (place of employment or faculty)
– Author’s email address
– ORCID (if available)
– Article title
– Abstract (up to 300 words)
– Keywords
Citations and Bibliography
First Mention: Provide full bibliographic details for the first citation of a source.
Subsequent Mentions: Use a shortened version of the citation.
Consecutive Citations: If the same source is used in the very next footnote, use: Ibid. (followed by the page number).
Bibliography: The reference list should be placed at the end of the paper, before the English summary, in alphabetical order.
Script: All bibliographic entries must be written in the Latin script. If a source was originally published in Cyrillic, it must be transliterated into the Latin script, with the note (Cyrillic) added in parentheses.
Beginning with the second issue the KSIO Journal has fully accepted the Chicago style of citing in footnotes (The Chicago Manual of Style, detailed instructions on the website: https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/toolscitationguide/citation-guide-1.html).
