About us
KSIO: Humanities journal for postgraduates and early-career researchers (abbreviated: KSIO) was founded in 2018 by the History Students Club – Ostrogorski from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. KSIO is a journal for BA, MA and PhD students and early-career researchers in the field of History and other Humanities and Social Sciences. The journal encourages the interdisciplinary and multiperspective study of complex topics and modern methodological and theoretical approaches. KSIO provides a platform for young researchers to publish their scientific papers. In line with one of its key objectives, KSIO aims to enhance the inclusion of young researchers in both the national and broader European academic community through its work.

KSIO is published online, once a year.
KSIO was categorized by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Information for the first time in 2023.
KSIO is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals, ERIH PLUS, and Sherpa Romeo.
Publisher: History Students Club – Ostrogorski, Faculty of Philosophy, University in Belgrade.
As of December 2022, Research Center for the Teaching of History and Historical Heritage, Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade, became the co-publisher of KSIO.
